I am a Certified Nurses Aide, and I have read this book 3 times already. I am now taking notes. This book gives a lot of case studies, and easy to read instructions. This book has helped me to keep up to date on what is happening in the Health Care Field. It is also helping me with my course in becoming a Certified Medical Coding Specialist. The Appendix consisting of Medical terms, etc. is helpful to all who want to know how to understand medical jargon.
This book is a wonderful guide to get you on your way to becoming a Certified Nursing Assistant. This is a wonderful career to have in the medical field. Helping people as a CNA is extremely rewarding.Even if you're not looking to become a CNA, this book has excellent information for anyone who is in a caregiving situation. It has information ranging from infant care to elderly care.I would recommend this book for anyone who wants to pursue a career in the healthcare field or anyone who has someone they take care of.
I am currently studying to become a CNA in the state of Maine. This is the textbook and workbook we are using. I have found this text to be very thorough and I enjoy it very much. I would recommend it to any CNA or CNA student.
This book was fantastic! Very detailed and easy to follow.No question was left unanswered. I highly recommend it to anyone studying to be a nurses aid.

This is my textbook for CNA class in Colorado. It is very thick and full of good information, but the quizes at the end of the chapter are not as nice as I would like, and the answers are not in the book. There are also some things listed in the book that are different depending on the state and the facility, so just keep that in mind. Over all it is a great resource with really details procedure notes and lots of indepth information.
This is a great book if you are studying for your CNA. It explains all the clinical work in the detail you will need to pass your test.
This manual is more detailed than the Certified Nursing Assistant classroom information. One reason I purchased this is the detail for ongoing review, especially if you are a CNA who works in differing environments (post-surgery, hospice, home care, etc). A great addition to my bookshelf for a perfect price.
