I ordered this book under the impression that it was like new. While the outside looks fine, the inside is full of writing so it makes it impossible to study from. I should have just bought it new. I guess you get what you pay for. This should have been listed as okay quality by the seller based on how about 80% of the book is written in. I am very sad but I can't do anything about it since I was in the hospital. Next time I order used, I am going to ask or pictures of the book both inside and out.
This is an excellent companion for the textbook, with questions that prepare the student for CNA certification. There are usually four to six pages of questions for each chapter in the text, thus pushing you to understand topics thoroughly.
For as long as the user reads and try to answer the questions, he - unconsciously - gets induced to read and reread its counterpart textbook, thereby learning most of knowledge and skills that outta be acquired. This workbook deserves to be promoted to all nursing wannabes.
I purchased this book to use as a companion to the textbook. After starting to use it, I realized there is no answer key to check my answers. I e-mailed the company and they refused to send me an answer key, saying that only instructors can receive the answer key. My instructor is not using the workbook as part of the curriculum; I informed the publisher of this but they still refused to send the requested answer key. Don't bother buying the book; waste of money.
