When evaluating the quality of a product like this, good lamination, colorful presentation and sturdy quality are secondary to the quality of the information included in the guide. While this product deserves good marks for those secondary qualities, it doesn't do well where it really matters. Yes, almost all of the information about Russian grammar included on the guide is correct, but a resource likes this needs to be consistently accurate, and this one is not. There are small errors in the guide that make it an unreliable resource. Example: the presentation of the declensions leaves out the genitive ending for hard-stem feminine words, a major category of words. And that's only one of the mistakes that I found. How can I know that there aren't others? When reviewing grammar, I need the guide to be checking *me*, not vice-versa. There is also an error in the pronoun section where singular pronouns are incorrectly labeled as plural. The convenience of having everything in a handy, laminated format is what made me buy two of these (one for me, and one for my wife), but don't waste your money, search for Natalia Lusin and buy anything you can get your hands on by her.

It is short, accurate and to the point, but the problem is Russian is so complicated that you can't expect to learn from this card. There just simply isn't enough room. So, if you're already proficient in Russian and want it to brush some dust off, this is an excellent choice.

I bought this as a type of easy and quick reference guide to Russian grammar. It works quite well for that, especially because the text I am using in my Russian language class has a less-than-adequate appendix. I have used it quite a bit, and I like that I can put it into a 3-ring binder if I need to do such.4 1/2 stars. I'd give it another 1/2 star, easily.

Lots of info crammed in folder type laminate. Also ordered the Quick Outline by Hinkel. They are similar but some additional different information.Certainly will be helpful and will definately use them.* russian student *

This Quickstudy Outline is a great reference. I highly recommend it for students taking basic Russian courses like 101 and 102. This will make your class a lot easier and will help you learn. You cannot learn from this Quickstudy Outline alone. If you plan to learn Russian, I recommend taking actual courses. I am very satisfied with my purchase.

I am a 3rd year Russian student and I have to say this is a pretty useful guide for Russian language students. I gave it 4 stars because I think it could benefit from a chart that shows the case endings in their respective forms. This is in no way, shape, or form a replacement for in class learning, etc. This guide has been most helpful after my first year of college Russian, now that I know all of the cases and understand how the Russian grammar system works. It has been helpful to me when writing essays in Russian, when I am unsure of an irregular form I can refer to the guide. I keep this with my Russian notes in my Russian 301 binder.* If you are studying Russian seriously I recommend buying this guide, Katzner's Russian-English dictionary, and Barron's 501 Russian verbs / McGraw Hill's Big Silver book of 555 Russian verbs.Last you should listen to lot's of Gruppa Link (Группа Кино), they are an awesome band and sing slow enough to understand their lyrics.Удачи с русским языком товарищи! Good luck with Russian comrades!

I gave this guide as a gift and the recipient, a third year russian major, said that with the exception of a few things as stated in other reviews, it was not missing anything critical. As the guide states itself, it is not a replacement for a textbook, it is just a guide. Otherwise it is a great quick guide for those who are currently learning Russian. I recommend it!

Useful, has all of the main grammar features in Russian in one handy place. You won't find long detailed explanations, but those provided are useful and usable.Good value, and very useful as a quick reference
