The text looked good..Good intro and lots of detailed pictures. But unless you are an experienced microscopist and have all the proper stains..your images will not likely look like the ones you see in the book. I liked that there was info on some Chinese herbs in this book. I liked how there was a lot of review of botany and plant features....but that also takes up space. This is not a book for amateurs..in my opinion. PS what does not tell you is that they will charge you a $75 restocking fee!!! Order with care. (p.s. Update:I was able to get my 'restocking fee' reimbursed, after I filed a complaint)
