This book is a lifesaver! I am currently going through pharmacology in Nursing school right now and everything I need to know about medication is in this awesome little guide. It is small and fits into scrub pockets. The writing is small so if you have bad eyes maybe it is not for you, but I know that it has helped me understand many of the drugs we are going over in class. It narrows a lot of information down to the necessities. For example, it will give the generic name, trade name, pregnancy category, controlled substance schedule, available doses, indication, teaching, etc. Just a great little guide to keep on you while you go through clinical. I would definitely take this with me in the nurse setting when I graduate.

MISSING PAGES 407-422!

Initially when I opened this item, I was surprised at how small it was. It is literally pocket size, like, can fit in the palm of your hand. This is great for use at clinicals, or just having if you don't want to carry around a larger book. Does it have every single drug? -- No. But it's got a majority of the ones you'd need to find. I absolutely love it.

Perfect for nursing school, fits in your pocket. has over 1500 drugs listed. I take this with me to clinical each week and everyone is always amazed at its compact size. It is super convenient, however if you want a full drug book opt for the full version. When I bought this I didn't take pocket drug guide seriously and thought it was full size. It is very nice for having for clinical and carrying in your pocket because of its size and being readily available in your pocket. I think that every person in nursing school could benefit from having a little pocket guide like this to take along with them for a quick reference.

Fits perfect in my pocket and isn't uncomfortable. I always get compliments on it for its compact size and information. It very much is an easy, quick way to look up any meds you are unfamiliar with. I wish I had this my first semester of nursing school. After I bought this 2 or 3 of my classmates bought as well

I got this book for my nursing student years and I love it. It helps write care plans much quicker than any website. Also, it only tells you the most important information about the drugs not an entire encyclopedia about it. The nurses I shadow also love the book. They have several years of experience and still need a tool such as this one. I recommend this book to any one going into health. It truly is pocket size and fits in all scrub pockets. It is so useful.

I keep this in my pocket at clinicals. I've used this several times already to look up drugs I've not heard of. Much quicker than having to go through our cumbersome reference source on the hospital's computers!

Very good information is contained in this book. Every year, more medications are released, and this book contained a lot of new drugs that nurses need to know about. It contains information about what drugs are for, as well as what drugs they interact with, and what drugs they should not be given with. Excellent!
