I usually prefer to use my online drug book sources for what I need at work and in school because I find them to be more up to date then print obviously. But this book does lay things out in an easier to access format than some online sources. It is still very helpful.
There are drugs that I cannot find in this book so i end up looking it up in the mosby's drug guide via google. I had to purchase this one because it was required by my classes. If i had to buy another one, I'd definitely get the mosby's drug guide instead.
Very good book to get started learing of Medications... not too much , not too less so its perfect at level of Nursing. It pretty much give most of stuff about different medications... plus small size so easy to carry and read anywhere... absolutely suggest someone
This is an excellent drug guide and I carry it with me every day to work. When I am unsure I refer to this and it is an excellent tool. I recommend this for nursing students and even nurses currently practicing. It has all the drug classes and names that you would need in a day and includes additional information that is really helpful while practicing. This product came in a timely manner and was packaged great with no damages.
Complete drug information in layman terms. Excellent for CMA, CNA, DSP, etc.
Print is incredibly small.
Although I haven't use this much yet because I was hoping it was a but smaller! Not something you can carry around with you at the bedside. lol. I'll have to look into the pocket edition. :)
Clear, easy to understand. Some of the combination drugs don't have much info, but other than that it's good. I used this throughout nursing school, and now it's going into my bag for work.
