Reading this book felt like I was reading the results of a study. Too many citations not enough original content. Had this book for a sociology class and it made the course more difficult. I had the eBook version and it wasn't any better. Should have a word search tool like most online books.Also, citing from this book is a nightmare since everything written is already cited from other publishings
I rented this book for school and it was actually interesting. It had tons of information ranging from families and divorce, statistics, and more. Rented it for school and I actually enjoyed it. Great stuff to know and learn about especially if you are studying to be something in that field.
I bought this book for a class I am taking for college. It has a lot of information, I wish it touched based on more subjects and detailed a few more areas, but all in all it was a good book for class. Received in a timely manner
Basic Marriage and Family Development 101. If you want to know how a marriage works, delimas that may arise, and how to effectively communicate this is the book. I got it for a psychology class but if I would have read this book before getting married maybe I wouldn't have gotten married to the individual that I did. Sometimes I would rather read and learn than to experience and learn.
I took this class in the Spring of 2014 with a different edition of this book. I sold the book back not knowing that I'd need it again. To make a long story short this version is far better, and so is my class for the fall of 2014.
Very interesting book, wish I had more time to fully read it. My class is accelerated and I get to skim and find reference to what I need.
