Comprehension, or the ability to extract information from a text while reading, is an important skill for both your child's educational journey and his or her future. If your child can't comprehend texts, he or she is not able to read to his or her full potential. Discuss thoughts, opinions, and conclusions he or she had as the result of reading and understanding a text. Comprehend Grade-appropriate stories while reading at a steady pace.
