I love this book. The wording is appropriate for young kids and the pictures are spectacular! My kids (ages 5 & 6) love looking at all the details in the pictures, especially for the hidden letter on every page! Highly recommend this book! :)
I collect alphabet books, and I have a new favorite! The rhymes are clever and cute, and the pictures are deep and beautiful and textured.
Since buying this book for my kids, I have bought it for every friend who has had a baby, and it's always everyone's favorite book! The illustrations are so beautiful and detailed that my kids love spending extra time on each page looking for all the things that start with each letter of the alphabet. I credit this book with teaching my son the alphabet at age 1 1/2 - it was his favorite, and we read it every night for over a year!
A fun-to-read, rhyming, and, true-to-the-title, “silly” alphabet book with delightful illustrations. Words and pictures combine to tell a “mini story” about each letter, such as, “K starts karate and kangaroos kissing, and kilt-weating kittens whose kickstands are missing.” A great combination of educational and entertaining. Every library should have this book.
We love this book! The pictures are bright and colorful. The words are fun, and printed big and bright. A book that has been re-read and loved.
