I felt I had to review the current (second) edition because two (identical) reviews nearby applied to an earlier edition. The second edition is expanded to over seven hundred pages and is jammed with useful information. Its cost is reasonable compared with alternative pacemaker books containing considerably less information costing as much or more.My level of expertise is as a retired anesthesiologist: therefore the subject is somewhat foreign to me, but most of it is easy to understand in this well-written and edited book. Contributors come from the finest medical centers in the US and around the world.Knowledge in this specialty increases measurably from year to year so a recent edition such as this is desirable. Authors' references include some as recent as 2007.

I believe this is a topic All cardiologists (like me) have to review frequently, and is a very well written and carefully designed for someone who isn't an electrophysiologist. Must have!

Excellent service. I am very pleased with this purchase. Thank you.
