Practical experience and basic concept of imaging equipment theory, function and repair. Lots of valuable information on installation, calibration and quality. Could be a good book for an associate degree program in biomedical or clinical technology or for someone already working in the field who would like to migrate into imaging repairs.
Excellent book for anyone interested in repairing and maintaining X-ray equipment. Great overview of X-ray equipment with enough details for a seasoned FSE. Great overall book.
This book is not recommended.The x-ray machine designs have changed dramatically in recent years that this book is totally outdated.I don't know one can use this book as a guide for installation with a slight or romote possiblity. This out dated material is a waste of time and my x-ray service manual is even better than this book.
