I've bought this book every year since I discovered it in 2004. Hansten & Horn’s Top 100 Drug Interactions is THE book that I use to determine the clinical relevance of drug interactions. Once you read their piece on QTc interactions you will never wonder how to handle them again!
I call this sweet book my drug interaction bible. I take it everywhere I work. I also suggest it to all students that I encounter along the way. It is important to note that the drug CYP450 table is compiled by human trials ONLY. NO in-vitro or animal studies. The classifications of the interactions gives you practical information and insight on how concerned you should be. I am also VERY excited that they've added a brief table on the common CYP450 polymorphisms and their incidences in the population. Dr. Hansten and Dr. Horn are true experts and I consider myself fortunate to have them as professors. You will NOT be disappointed once you get the hang of navigating this book.
Great book! It was recommended to me by my professor before I went on rotations. It's a great resource to have honestly.
