My daughter started taking French this year and this Pocket student dictionary is exactly what she needed. It is so very helpful and perfect for students. She is 7th grade. Great resource to have at a fantastic price.

While this is not as thorough a French dictionary as some of the others on the market, it's great for the beginner and casual scholar of French. The words are written large, and the pages are colorful and easily managed.

I am currently learning French I, and my teacher recommended we get a pocket dictionary. I searched online and found that this is a very helpful dictionary. I soon bought it and I am still intrigued at how easy it is to use and that it is specifically made for students! It is very basic so I got the non-student pocket dictionary. This is a nice dictionary with lots of sample sentences and expressions. However, there are words, even commonly used ones, that are not in the dictionary. It makes me frustrated sometimes that I can't find words in this dictionary.

This dictionary is very helpful. It has accurate translations of basic french-english words. However, it does not contain an advanced vocabulary so if you are looking to translate words that are not frequently used this dictionary may not be for you.
