If you are taking a child development class this is the book you should use. The only down side was someone in the class had the 8th edition and the wording between both books was almost word for word. So unless you get a class that uses the 10th edition just save the money and buy the 8th edition. For the most part the book was great and really put everything out there, I just couldn't get past how much it was a copy of edition 8.
The book came on time and it was in the condition stated on the website. It is for school, and just what I needed for one of my early childhood classes. And also I love how it breaks the topics down. Very informative.Thank you very much I appreciate your service
I purchased this text book because it was required for my Child Dev class. I got a reasonable price through . It is a decent read--interesting, but not fascinating. The author used fun anecdotes to support the subject matter. It's very readable, in spite of its sometimes very technical terms.
This book is super informative, and I absolutely love it. I am taking a child development class so it was required, but I totally see why. It is so full of information about lifespan development, maternal care, everything that you would need to know for a class like this. I would probably even read this on my own. Great book!
Amazing thank you very helpful! Highly recommended!Renee (Rivki) SilverbergAuthor of Understanding Children and Families with Autism Spectrum Disordershttp://www..com/Understanding-Children-Families-Spectrum-Disorders/dp/1622127269/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1418769206&sr=1-1&keywords=understanding+children+and+families+with+autism+spectrum+disorders
This book was required for a class and I got a good deal on as compared to my university bookstore. This book was used before I got it and served its purpose for my class. There are interesting concepts in this book that I may even look back on as needed for further studies.
Textbooks can be boring, overwhelming, insulting, underwhelming... This text is well written, well organized and interesting enough to hold your attention. I have enjoyed reading it and like Kathleen Stassen Berger's writing style. This is one of the better Psychology books I've had.
I found this book to be very current, interesting and well written. I will keep this book for my further studies. I was pleased with this school book. You won't hear me say that about most college books.
