Easy read. concise info. worked well with the keywords listed by the ABA for the exam. I passed. I'll buy another one in 10yrs.
Good review, I like being able to review material on my iPad and not have to carry books. Very easy to cover a lot of subjects
Pros: Excellent, concise, high - yield, readable summaries of key topics with good indexes. Takes complicated topics and distills the knowledge down to a succinct, one page summary, which is so valuable when time is limited.Cons: Many typos; indexes aren't always completely accurate (this occurs rarely). The apparent low emphasis on quality control makes me feel unsettled about relying on the accuracy of its content. More entries would make it more complete, for example, there is no review of CVP line contra-indications, CVP tracing components and factors affecting the tracing, which would be helpful.Overall: Not perfect, but still highly recommended
The Modak Keywords Review covers topics with an emphasis on brevity. There is no short supply of long-winded anesthesiology review books for the boards. This book has been useful for covering ICU-related topics and pharmacology review as part of my residency training. The inclusion of more illustrations and even color in future updates would be beneficial. This is a strong text otherwise.
Write ups are medical student/resident on a night of call quality. The information is too basic and would not help you for exams.
