What a great format for my older two kids to learn about life with their new twin siblings. This book speaks to children from age 2 to 6 at their level. My children have fun reading about another family welcoming twins home in this story so they can relate to the busy-ness and adjustment.
Not quite what I was expecting, but I think it's been good for my son. I wish it focused more on parents having to care for the baby and sibling adjustment rather than the babies being born in the hospital early and having to stay there. But there aren't many books out there to prepare an older sibling for the birth of twins. I will probably purchase a few more of this series because of that aspect.
This is the second book in the Paris series. Paris tells the story of when her mommy went to the hospital to give birth to her twin sisters. Paris gets to spend a lot of time at her grandparents house while her mommy is in the hospital and her daddy is with her mommy and the new babies. She tells of all the visitors who come to see the babies and leave presents for the babies and her.The book is written so that preschoolers will understand it. Preschoolers will also enjoy the bright illustrations.
Paris is excited because her twin sisters are coming home! Newly big sister, Paris, experiences the fun as well as changes in her home with two brand new baby sisters. This is another wonderfully written, family oriented, children's book that has playful artistry and a wonderful story line. This is a continuation of I'm Having Twins. The Paris series of books are great for group story time, one on one reading, bed time reading, etc.
Book two in Paris Morris' My Twins series picks up right where the last one left of while still standing on its own two feet as a great children's book. Paris' new twin sisters are born at the hospital and boy does that change her life. With the twins home she has to adapt and change is a variety of ways all while trying to just share her blanket with her new siblings. It's a feel good story that I am sure any young child will enjoy especially if the have a younger sibling and even more so if they have younger twins in their family. Do not hesitate to buy this book for the kid in your family.
This is another cute book about twins coming home from the hospital to join their big sister. It helps to explain some things that maybe uncomfortable for a preschooler, like why the babies have to stay in the hospital, why can't they be touched and why does mommy have to stay in bed. It also helps a young one read about staying with grandparents while dad stays at the hospital and why dad will now be cooking dinner! This is another good book to start the conversation about babies.
