This is a great book. I read it 23 years ago in my internship and it changed my views of how to treat patients by understanding their disease processes. This new edition is a must read for anyone starting their internship before anesthesia or for anyone else that would like to have a better understanding of common coexisting diseases in their patients.

Excellent book. A lot of very useful information that is presented in an easy to read manner! This book is great for use in doing anesthesia care plans and study for didactic courses. I highly recommend.

It is really much better than its 5th edition. Lots of updates with new authors make this edition more practical. Some chapters are completely re-written in an organized way.

Great book and I really l like the free e-book on Inkling - I use this app all the time to search for conditions/info I need for care plans!

Arrived as supposed to

I have read the first two chapters and surprisingly this book is easy to read! It would be nice to have a review book to go along with it though.

ITs my choice for coexisting diseases. Kindle edition is just fantastic and easy to read. Quiet detailed and updated information

Read first edition for my boards in 1983. Personally told Dr Stolting it helped me pass boards and helped me clinically.
