This book gives tons of information needed to make an informed decision about revising from lap-band to another form of bariatric weight loss surgery. I would have welcomed this information before I made my decision to revise to a sleeve even though I learned a lot from Dr. V. and his staff before I revised. This book gave me additional information about other options currently available. I made the right decision and I think Lap-Band Struggles will help many others make the right decision.
This book is a must read if you are contemplating getting the gastric band or revising your band to either the sleeve or bypass. Dr. Vuong's books are an easy read and very informative. He gets down to the basics and tells it like it is. If you have having issues with your band and are not losing the weight you thought you would. Dr. V offers some insight as to why that may be happening. He also tells you what to expect if you are thinking about revising your band to either the sleeve or bypass. I would have liked to see a bit more on the insurance portion, but it was still good information. A definite must read if you are thinking about Weight Loss Surgery. I also highly recommend you read his other books! Dr. Vuong is a bariatric surgeon who cares about his patients and also cares to get the information out to those that are not his patient.
What can I say about Dr V the book opens your eyes on the ins and outs and who every works out and he also updates you daily on fb to help you even more thank you for everything you do for people .
One of the greatest books on lap band anywhere in the world. Dr Duc Vuong is the most knowledgeable person on all things and his books are so inspirational.
