This map packs a lot of information into a small space. It's a convenient size to carry, although the print can be a bit small for eyes that wish they were younger. We relied on it, along with Streetwise London, to get around London without a guide. It worked!
I Always buy PopOut maps everywhere they are available. Easy to carry around. No fuss to unfold or re-fold. They also have the metro routes which is a lifesaver. Highly recommend these maps for every trip. Compact and complete.
Such a helpful little tool to carry with you when you are walking around the city and do not want to exhaust your data plan on your smartphone. It folds up very compactly and is easy to read. So glad I had it!
I've been using these maps for years, and buy one for every trip. Even with a smartphone, i find these maps quicker and easier to use. This is because the map is designed with tourist attractions in mind and makes it simple to find them as well as restaurants and shops. It pops out like a pop up book, there is no awkward folding that you have to put back together. It is so compact that you can easily pop it out for a quick look without screaming "i'm a tourist!". Finally, you won't need to worry about unreliable technology, especially when traveling abroad where you never know what kind of service your phone will get. For the price you really cannot afford to travel without one!
These maps were perfect for my trip. It's a nice, compact booklet with the Underground routes easily accessible without opening the maps. When needed, the maps folded out and were great to guide me around London. The unfolded maps were not unruly or overly large, and they were easy to fold back. The maps/GPS on my phone didn't work well at all, so this was a lifesaver.
The PopOut Map is a novel idea, and a nice size for traveling. It is compact and the design is such that it unfolds for a larger area than expected. The tube map is just the "heart" of London. The underground trains are marked with the endpoint stations on front of the trains. For example, if you want to get from Victoria Station to Tower Hill, you could take a District Line train marked "Upminster". Without these endpoints being listed, the user would probably need an additional full-sized tube map to make sense of the underground.
