Actually it's very hard for me to post fair review on this book. I already own 6th edition which is excellent source of quick and helpful advises how to deal with various types of trauma from simple wounds to complicated neurological cases. So why only 3 stars? Don't get me wrong but 7th edition was released, in my opinion, only to drain money from our wallets. Preview is useless in this book, so I decided to buy e-book and skim through - 7th edition is basically 6th with few new photos and whole new look (in my opinion is worse than previous), content is the same.If you have previous edition don't buy it - spend some more on ITLS course, but if you don't own any of ITLS books buy this one.

Was expecting new sealed book and student cd , cd missing. .....appears to be used book , but that's ok. I need it for a recertification class. Would have been very upset if I was a beginning provider.

Easier to use with Kindle than having the hardback actually, because of the search feature. I only rented it, so the cost was WAY cheaper than buying the textbook. Plus during the course, I used it on my IPad, made notes easily.

This book was required for my EMT-Intermediate class and I'm glad I had it because it covered all the pertinent and necessary subjects I needed to cover to prepare for the ITLS exam. A companion text of Big Red is a good idea because the Reds go into more depth on the subjects you need to learn more about.

Much easier read than the Brady paramedic 7th edition! Moves quickly and very good at reinforcing basic principles already established for healthcare providers. Not a lot of new information, but if you're being required to read it as I was. Don't sweat it, easy reading and a precise format.

Needed this edition for a refresher class, didn't want to spend the money for a new copy since the latest edition had just been published... Testing was from this edition.... Saved my semester grade.....

I bought this book via my phone, now when I try to download it on my kindle it doesn t go through, I receive a message that says that I can't download it on my kindle because it's not compatible. How can this be posible? A book bought in kindle not compatible with the kindle! Totally frustrating...

Having been certified in PHTLS for many years ITLS was a disappointment. They use different terms that nobody else uses for the same thing, makes it confusing for no reason. I'm not complaining about the book itself but the course sucks.
