This book is well organized, easy to read and reference, and is pretty comprehensive. It doesn't go into great detail on things so if you need that king of detail, this book would be great at letting you know what to search for.

Gave it as a gift to GF who works as a trauma/flight RN.This is good for the purpose it was made, as it is in the cover - A CONCISE REVIEW.It is not meant to replace full blown textbooks, so this is good for people who are starting ICU/ED/Trauma.For medical students and residents, this might be really all you need to know. For fellows, critical care attendings, this is too basic.

This is an excellent, comprehensive, yet very concise source to review ICU topics. This book covers every essential topic in an easy to comprehend and swift to recall manner. This book will provide a quick review of most essential ICU and ER topic for students, residents and attending physicians. I highly recommend this book and consider this book as my "go to" guide to ICU differential diagnosis and management.

To Good to be true, but' it is, in a easy way you' ll find all what you need to learn and refresh, it's very useful to teach your residents and Medical school students, simple language, I recomend the electronical version, so you can enjoy the images, very Good book

Dr. Anwar is one of the best intensivist under which I've trained. The curriculum he used for the ICU rotation was truly excellent- well constructed and relevant to the bedside- and the materials from that curriculum form the backbone to this book. I recommend this to anyone looking to learn the basics of ICU problems, diagnosis and management.

A good little review book to have while in school and working out in the field. I bought it for my critical care semester of nursing school. Now that I'm officially a RN, I still glance at it from time to time.

Not what I expected...90% of this I know. The rave reviews are not accurate in my opinion. Maybe I need to look for a pocket ER book. This is more Critical care than Emergency medicine. If you work ER, dont buy this, chances are you already know nearly all of it

excellent..thank you very much.
