I used this book for my vascular anatomy exam,and I passed! I mainly do venous studies in my department, with limited arterial study exposure from a prior job. I really like the other imaging modality questions and explanations (i.e. MRI & Angiography studies and what is the pathology in question). They do put questions like that on the boards. Yes, I am a Rad Tech (4 yrs. professional).
The Davies review books are an excellent study source addition when preparing for any of the ARDMS registry exams.This Vascular Technology Review book not only has over 500 questions designed around the ARDMS outline but includes a chapterof pictures and questions as well. The questions can be a bit challenging but guides you in the right direction. Questions missed show you where your weaknesses are enabling you to spend additional time in those areas. You can't go wrong using this as one of your study sources. I used it along with two other books and passed the ARDMS vascular examination with no problem. However, I studied for 3 months prior to sitting for this exam which according to the test site is very rarely passed on the first try. I would highly recommend this review book for the RVT exam.
This is an excellent material to prepared you for the vascular exam either the CCI or ARDMS. this book no only show questions ,but also have 2D imagines, angiographic pictures and study cases. I am very happy with this book.I pasted the cci RVS now I am going for the RVT of the ARDMS. I highly recommended this book
this is a pretty good book that asks a variety of questions to prepare you for the boards!!
Just took and passed the RVT exam and I did not think this book was helpful. I studied from NCER and edalmen flash cards along with the xzone. I thought this book was more of a distraction. If your looking to do questions do xzone.
very well organized and covers a wide range of questions. the answers have explanations with them. easy to cross reference.excellent book and I passed my RVT exam with the help of this book and the text book. Best purchase to pass the boards.
Tons of questions that helped me pass my Vascular boards. Its all questions with explainations at the end. Great addition to studying.
This is a good question and answer book - quick study guide that is full of ARDMS types of questions. The clinical portion is basic and not necessary for the RPVI exam. It is relevant to those studying for the RVT examination. Overall I recommend it highly for those taking ARDMS examinations that have a vascular component.
