Terry Reynold's Pocket Reference is a must for any echocardiology student or lab. If you have a 3rd Edition, the 4th Edition is worth purchasing. New additions to the 4th edition include an expanded 3D echocardiography section, myocardial strain and strain rate imaging and, overall, larger pictures.The 4th edition has green accents and the 3rd edition has blue accents. The blue is darker and easier to see over the green accents (especially in dimmed rooms). Specifically, the 3rd edition's green arrows in pictures are bolder and easier to see than the 4th edition's blue arrows.
Great resource for students and newly hired cardiac sonographers. Trust me, you'll use this in school and on the job!
