Although it is very informative, I believe that the text should be edited in a way that reduces repetition of information. I was somewhat disappointed that the ICD 10 CM codes were not included. However, the treatment and interventions information is an excellent feature that can help a beginner to get started in the formulation of treatment plans.

I have attended Dr D's seminar on preparing for licensing exam and her DSM5 in Action book is just an amazing help to know how treatment is applied to the categories in the DSM5. Dr D breaks down the information into language that non doctors can understand and enables the reader to effectively and confidently treat clients based on the diagnosis they have been given. I recommend this book to college students and new social workers going into the Social Work field, supervisors in treatment agencies, and professors to use in teaching about the DSM 5 diagnosis and treatment.

It is definitely a great book for any clinician! It is an all inclusive book. I always get these DSM In Action books prior to purchasing any others when the DSM changes. It creates a solid foundation.

Very useful resource for DSM-5 understanding. Ease of comprehension, and perfectly coordinated and organized according to DSM-5.

Great book, incredibly well written and a necessity for helping me understand my psychopathology class.

Helpful for certain diagnosis, but does not cover all diagnosis in the DSM.

I am in a Ph.D. program for psychology and this is helpful.

I don't use it enough to say if I like it or not, actually
