Had to get this for a mixed class of undergraduates and graduates. I do not like how the book reads. I do like the layout of the chapters, but many students in the class told the professor to find another book that clearly states what he wants to teach.
Discription was an understatement. The book is covered in major highlights and markings. They are not minor at all. Now I know that saying that there is minor markings is just a standard description they all write, but if you are going to post a description, make sure it is accurate. I will say though that the item did ship very fast and got to me just in time for classes to start, and the outside of the book looks great. I would return it, but now that classes have started, I need the book now and cannot. The pictures I have posted are only a few pages, some are even worse than this. I would say that 95% of this book is covered in markings. Now to me that is more than just minor markings.
It's a very educational book, however I wish it went a little more in depth of certain key points.
I was worried that this edition that i had to buy for a class wasn't going to address the DSM V, but rest assured it does. Its a text book, but reads pretty okay and implements good case studies.
terrible test bank. A lot of key concepts are not fully explained and it is hard to read. Not written for undergraduate level. If it is without details, you may as well not write it.
