Excellent fast and detailed source for refreshing the memory or for initial study. I practice General Otolaryngology and don't do all procedures frequently. This resource is an excellent source for frequent use. The online back-up is also a good value for many circumstances.
This is a comprehensive complete atlas of Head and Neck Surgery involving diagnosis, etiology, treatment, and complication management. A large part of the 2 volume set is dedicated to the operative approaches in the entire field of otorhinolaryngology. The strongest area of the books is the discussion of skull base tumors. Line drawings, IO Photos, useful tables of differentials is incorporated throughout the text. This series is over 1600 pages. Staging and classification of diseases is especially informative. I do recommend this book from novices, to residents in ENT, to more advanced Head and Neck surgeons as a desk reference.
