It even includes access to additional online content, which enables the user to search content digitally in many different ways. As a 'librarian,' I have used this resource for many years, and it has always been a favorite go-to guide for me. For an 'educator,' it is full of entries that offer fresh new teaching topics and ideas. As a former 'teacher,' I have even used Chase's Calendar of Events to compile interesting content for bulletin board displays and creating teaching material This book is one of those must-have general reference resources that is full of "Did you know?" conversation starters, and offers itself as a unique resource for even just the mildly curious. Given as a gift after submitting an additional day to the calendar, this book brought enormous smiles and some giant hugs. The days within range from how-do-we-celebrate-that? to that-is-fascinating-history and through everything in between. Well worth a purchase, well worth a read.
