It would be a great resource if the answers were provided. I bought this on my own to help me with NCLEX questions, but didn't realize my instructors, nor I, could access the answers. VERY DISAPPOINTED.
The workbook is a nice compliment to the main textbook but it could be so much more helpful if it simply contained the answers to the review questions at the end of the chapter or at the end of the book. Without the answer, you either need to get them from your professor (who will either know the answer or have to request it him/herself) or you can spend a lot of time Googling for the answer.This textbook is used in the nursing program I attended and what frustrated me the most was not having the NCLEX Review Question answers anywhere in the book, nor did the book contain any information specifically pertaining to the NCLEX question. I think the reason they do this is because many nursing instructors will actually use these NCLEX questions on their tests, straight out of the book.Either way, for $30, it's worth getting the workbook, especially considering how much all the other books cost; just be aware though, you'll have to dig around online to try to find the answers.
The book is well set up but there are no answers in the book! Your professor has to contact Lippincott to open them for you in prepU. Then forget printing! Better to download the answers.
The book does not contain the answers to all of the exercises at the end of chapters!Had to go thru a lot of searching time and energy to get answers from Instructor!!
Having to rely on an instructor to provide answers to an outside sourced study guide is uncalled for.I will not be purchasing anything like this again.
I was able to complete my on line charting thanks to this book. I think I will keep it after the LVN program.
