Used this continuously throughout nursing school, covers all the main important topics, but honestly not completely helpful while taking ATI practice assessments, so do not expect it to have ALL the answers, respectfully (you have to use your brain!!!!!). But it serves the purpose it's meant to and guides you accurately! Keep studying and you'll get through!!
This book is HUGE, but it is smaller than my medsurg textbook and the information is laid out in a logical order and presented in a concise manner. I think I would buy this as a study guide even if I didn't need it for ATI proctored exams.
I liked the content of the book it provides just the essential details that nurses need to perform safe practice. I was disappointed that the book I purchase was filled with highlighter marks which I find very distracting. The book was too expensive for the condition it was in and the seller did not state that there were highlighter marks all over the book.
I love how there's a lot of nursing interventions and health teachings plus each topic is short and concise it's brief enough that you get the whole picture. Fast,easy read! and I like the Q&A by the end of each topic although there's only a few questions the ATI active learning template helped me retain what I think is the most important overall.
Very helpful when studying Med Surge. The chapters sum up the massive amounts of information that we are taught in nursing school. I used this book to study (along with my class notes, of course) and saw my grade go from a D to a B!
