This book is an excellent option for a beginner: clear, with excellent images. And the seller described my book condition in a very truthful way: nice! I definitely recommend this book for a beginner who needs to learn how to read smears.
This is a great book not just for the beginners but I have seen Lab professionals using this books as reference in the hospital laboratories. This book also helped me identifying the cells.
This book was required for my hematology class and I used it so often that the pages began to fall out. The pictures are great and the information is written in a clear, concise manner. I found this book on the shelf of several of my clinical sites. Its clear that it is a favorite for lab personnel. My professor suggested taking it to an office store to have it bound on a spiral so the pages wont be lost when they begin to fall out like mine.
When I worked in a laboratory at a hospital, I often referred to this book when doing my slide reviews and manual differentials. It has a lot of great drawings and pictures.
