This is the text book I used in college way back when.....I am relearning French with Rosetta Stone but got to a place where I really wanted my text book again to better understand verb tenses. For historical reference I learned French via the Rassias method for two years (and nothing in high school) then finished a math degree and then went to France for my last year of school. This intense approach allowed me to successfully finish off my last year.
I really like the book; however, I would like to check the answers. Is there an answer key? I would like to purchase one.
The book is good beginning level for French 1.I ordered a used book and the book was in decent condition, but it was not the most recent edition.I would recommend anyone purchasing this text book for a class to be sure that it is the correct edition.

By today's standards, this is a TERRIBLE book for learning French. Once upon a time, it might have been considered good. Many texts are pushed by profs who are friends with the author and thousands of students pay the price.
