Receiving a sign that a loved one who has passed is at peace and still by our side when we need them is nothing short of miraculous. This collection of such stories is heartwarming, soul bearing and emotionally healing. Thank you to those who shared their personal experiences and a greater thanks to the author for this book.
When someone I love passes away, I find myself wishing that I could communicate with them one more time. Signs of Spirits has given me hope that I will feel their presence around me again. I have found myself listening more closely to the sounds that my house makes, looking at things around me in a whole new light. I will never again take for granted my missing keys, or the movement out of the corner of my eye.
joni mayhan has done an excellent job of putting together short story's of others that have had family members , loved ones pass, then come back after passing. After reading this book it reinforces the fact that we do not pass into oblivion or nothingness. Our spirit is never-ending and our loved ones stay near to help oversee and guide us in life as well as protect us from harm. If you have lost a love one, family, friend, you will feel comfort reading others storys and will help ease the pain as there are not gone, but near by always.
I thoroughly enjoyed "Signs of Spirits" by Joni Mayhan. I found it to be both intriguing and interesting. I especially enjoyed how Joni presented the personal accounts of her readers in a very organized fashion, that is, by category. Whether it was a song, an event, a touch, a spiritual or ghostly encounter, or a dime found tails up, each story was a genuine presentation of a personal encounter with a family, a friend or even a pet which had passed on. I also liked hearing of Joni's personal relationship with her grandparents as a child...a relationship which enabled her to find herself and her calling. A calling to assist people not to fear death and subsequent encounters with those who have passed, but to assist us in embracing those who have either passed on to a spiritual realm; or to help those who may be struggling to make the transition "into the light." Joni, in her presentation, is never critical or skeptical of people, but is always offering encouragement in her quest to help others be in touch with the afterlife and the excitement it has to offer. A quick read....a good read....highly recommended. Thanks, Joni. PS--the "signs" are truly all around us!
This book was awsome. The stories in this book made me cry but they were happy tears. It's great to know that our loved ones really dose give us signs.A Must Read Book Thank you Joni. BeeBee
Thank you for another great book Joni! So many things that we see and hear we just blow it off as a coincidence or say we imagined it...well not anymore for me. I will certainly pay more attention after reading this. It is such a comfort to know they are around us and can find ways to let us know. Thanks for opening my eyes!!
This is a very heart warming and joyful book. I was surprised by the many ways that a loved one can use to connect with you after they have passed into spirit. Just to say, HI!, to let you know they are OK in there new spirit life and will come to visit when you need to feel them, sense the are there. The love you shared in life is still there in a new way and stronger than ever. This writing, sharing of actual personal experiences will help and comfort many and help answer the question, "Is there life after death?" Thank you Joni for gathering all these wonderful stories.
Excellent book! Really reminds you to pay attention to everything around you. It really is miraculous how our loved ones stay with us when we need them the most. Plus, written by an excellent author love all her books! !
