Without the benefit of a brick and mortar bookstore, I rely heavily on reviews, and I shy away from anything with poor reviews, or books and projects with only a few reviews -- those positive comments are likely friends and family members of the author, just trying to help. I made an exception because this was a good price, and I was able to use some Prime credits to buy the book, and because I happen to be amid an emotionally challenging time with my 6-year-old. I was looking for some real world help, and "The Ultimate Guide to Single Parenting" was no more than a childish essay. The disappointment made an already difficult situation sting even more. The "advice" within amounts to empty platitudes: "don't go out to eat - you can save money that way," and "at least you don't have to argue with a spouse about the best way to raise your child," and so forth. There are far, far better resources on Pinterest (and we all know that Pinterest has its own issues!). This e-pub is inexpensive, but not worth your money. I hate to give a negative review, but I'd like to spare others the letdown I experienced.
This was as good read, lots of info for the single parent. I found the book to be informative and well written. I especially liked the the chapter on saving money, that is something a single parent is always looking to do. It's not easy being a single parent, but this book has some great tips in it. A good read for anyone who is a single parent, is friends with one or in a relationship with one.

Great stuff for single parents out there! Being a single parent takes a lot of courage to face its challenges. But a great reward comes in when you were able to raise your child almost perfectly! This book outlined the benefits of being a single parent and its challenges. It has also tips on how to balance your work and to take care of yourself, which is very important. Highly recommended!
