There is no getting around that the way you raise your children will influence their future. This is not something I take lightly as my parents have done an incredible job, so I have strong role models to work with. But that doesn’t mean I know how to raise kids. One of the valuable tips I am taking from this book is to allow my children to make their own mistakes. My parents allowed me to go out and experiment and I am a better person because of it. I could have gotten more disciplined by my parents in retrospect, but making my own mistakes is priceless when there is something to walk away with. I know that I will not be a perfect parent and nobody can be, but equipping myself with the right mindset beforehand is something that I believe will contribute to my success. Cheers to the author.
I liked how brief it was bc i am not a huge reader. Some of he areas could have been expanded more but it was enough to get my thoughts going in a positive direction. One step at a time as a parent :)
Very uplifting and positive. Just like the cover of the book makes you feel happier, so does the book itself. Short but sweet, with good information and inspiration for parents.
