Can America Survive?: 10 Prophetic Signs That We Are The Terminal GenerationThe information in this book was very informative. He brought forth biblical scriptures and events, and connected them to what was happening today. The Jews and Israel are God's Chosen people because of the promise he made to Abraham. One example cited, was how the 10 sons of Haman were hung and the Nuremburg Trial, where 10 German soldiers were hung for slaughtering and torturing the Jews. All the information is backed with scripture. It is a book so informative that you would not give it away.
This is a must read! I watch John Hagee on TV and I listen to his every word. He is a factual, intelligent, spiritual, powerful speaker and writer.. This book and all of his books are written as though he is speaking to us in the same aforementioned manner. `This book is about America, the economy, politics, schools, Christianity, our history, Israel, the world, good and bad! I am now reading it again, that is how well written this book is. In fact, I have read several of his books more than once. Those of you who know John Hagee as a Pastor, know what I mean. Those of you who do not, please acquaint yourselves with him. Do not back away because I stated that he is "spiritual and a Pastor "; I also stated that he is" factual and intelligent" because you need to know. You may not like what you have read, but you will be educated by this book.
America is at a point of no return. There is no hope for this country because we have turned our back on God. When you shake you fist at God and endorse the legalization of sin you are crying out for God's judgment. God has given us warning after warning beginning with 9/11 but we aren't listening. America is spiritually, financially, and MORALLY bankrupt.
This book is current and essential reading for anyone interested in the course of our nation from a spiritual and practical perspective.The "friend" who bought this book demonstrated his ignorance of Christianity by being unaware of a famous Christian author and a well respected representative of God on earth who would be an unlikely person to write a political science book. It is apparent that the reviewer who gave this book "one star" is also disdainful of Christianity and anti-Christ. Christianity is no fantasy world. The prophecies of the Bible are no fantasy world. The turning away of this nation from God is no fantasy world. The dramatic increase in out of wedlock teens, increase of abortions and increase in violent crimes since prayer was taken out of schools in the 60's is no fantasy world. Disdain of or disbelief in Christianity does not eliminate the connections between Christian principles and a secure, moral, and prosperous nation. And "staying away" from this book will not eliminate the societal bad habits we have adopted that are leading our nation down a rat hole. This book is telling us what most of our churches need to say but are failing to tell us: How turning away from God and Godly principles is destroying our nation. Disliking this book will not change that fact. Reading it may.
THIS IS A MUST READ FOR EVERYONE. THIS IS A EYE OPENER. WITH ALL THAT IS GOING ON THESE DAYS. WE NEED TO WAKE UP AND REALLY HOLD ON TO GOD AND HIS WORDS. JOHN HAGEE HAS WRITTEN SEVERAL BOOKS LATELY ON PHOPHETIC TIMES. SUCH AS NOW. AND HE IS RIGHT ON THE MARK. THIS IS SUCH A MIND BOGGLING BOOK. LOVED IT AND WANT ALL MY FRIENDS TO READ IT. YOU WONT BRE DISAAPOINTED.
One of the things I love about John Hagge's books is that he is such a scholar that I have no doubt that all the research is valid. His knowledge of Israel and America's role with the Holy Nation is insightful. This was quite informative. I don't agree with all of Hagge's teachings... but when he gets into history of Israel and our relationship with the country.. and God's mandate... I believe it. We are in trouble if we turn our backs on Israel. Interestingly, I see that both Democrat and Republican administrations are guilty of this over the past 20 years.
If you haven't seen or heard these lessons, then you are keeping your head in the sand. Everything is based on Bible passages and Pastor Hagee has a wonderful way of making these verses come to life and gives us warnings on future events. The future is right around the corner. This is an unbelievably good book. He is right on about what is, has and will happen here. Most has started and been proven already. It is frightening but continue to look from whence comes our source, strength and direction.
