Presented in outline form, this is a well organized and well documented volume. It works well with its "side-kick" volume of practice question sets for the CCRN certification exam.
the organization of this text is very helpful, easy to find what i'm looking for without too many words. great for jogging my memory when i'm busy and want to remember something i havent' worked with in a long time.
This book really has an answer for everything. It has helped me on almost every homework assignment I have ever had for my bachelors degree in nursing.
Great book to have as a resource. It stays in my work bag because It has so many great information. This book will help you become a great critical care nurse because it tells you what to expect base on your patient's diagnosis. Great resource.
The book is a great review, but be prepared to stare at wordy outlines & it is rare to find a picture or diagram. The book has been recommended to me by several CNS's so I will continue to try & read it, but its not as exciting as a Laura Gasparis DVD, that's for sure!
This book is a wonderful tool to created to help nurses freshen up on the many different systems or even prepare one for the CCRN test.
Bought it to study for the CCRN exam, but glad I will have it on the shelf for years to come any day I have a patient with some pathology or monitoring parameter that I'm not familiar with.
This book has a lot of helpful information that will definitely help you to pass the exam. I did.Good luck!!!
