It's a decent overview of neonatal systems but if you are studying for RNC-NIC you will need another source like Merenstein-Gardner study book in addition to this one. It's a harder, dryer read but has more details that are used on the test.
Arrived quickly and in excellent condition. Very informative and concise a lot of information to absorb. Excellent reference for a new nurse, or any NICU nurse. I hope to use this information to pass my exam.
Color pictures would have been great. Also the book is all in outline format and this was not my favorite, I would have preferred paragraph format.
Great book that summarizes in easy-to-read bullets the most important things about neonatal intensive care. I wish it had more pictures because the bullet format can be a bore to read at times (which is why some prefer the Merenstein & Gardner's book) but it is a great resource to look things up in a hurry when you want to get straight to the point on topics and makes things easy to comprehend!
