I bought this book as a student beginning to read ECG's. I do not know who liked it more me or the staff nurses in the hospital. Easy to use and understand. Would recommend
If your in the Cardiac Field this is a must have.I use it everyday at work.
As an ICU nurse, I deal with EKGs all day long, so that wasn't the problem. The problem was finding an easy, concise and accurate way to describe axis deviations, 12 leads and other more difficult concepts. This book is very easy to understand and gives great examples. It really helped me pass my CCRN.
I bought and used this book when I was in Nursing school and was glad I bought it. I had a hard time understanding EKG's and this really helped. It uses simple terms and photos and the small book is easy to carry around.
These books really helped me through nursing school. They break it down into easy to remember terms. The pictures and illustrations make me laugh and make learning fun. As a Cardiology nurse, I still carry this book with me and reference it!

Tele nurse here. This is my favorite go-to pocket reference for tricky rhythms. The layout makes sense and it's very easy to find any rhythm you're looking for. Recommend as a quick reference, for sure!
Good info, seems really thorough, lots of pics, good explanations. Explains everything about where starts to where electrical impulse goes and which sections PQRST corresponds to what area of heart. Great size to bring along. I'm in LVN- BSN program, better info than the EKG facts spiral bound booklet.
