The stated goal of this textbook is to go beyond the traditional colorectal surgical instructional textbook and to talk about the difficult and controversial issues that confront colorectal surgeons all over the world every day. The topics are well-chosen and the chapter authors are some of the most respected surgeons in the field. The editors have found the true experts in each area to address the most difficult issues. This is a great resource for any practicing colorectal surgeon. The fact that there is also a KINDLE edition is great! My iPad sure weighs less than a textbook and now I can look stuff up anywhere. Nice job!
