This is a compact pocket companion that will serve the surgical trainee well. Each section begins with anatomy and then lists conditions (with bullet points emphasizing critical facts) that are encountered in this region. Because the writing is so succinct, both uncommon and common conditions are listed. It is an excellent resource to be consulted "prn" as the title suggests - look at this to review anatomy just before you scrub in the OR, or review the bullet points when you encounter a patient with a particular condition. The illustrations are full color Netter drawings. And, to cap it off, the size and price are just right!

This book is a very concise volume on surgical anatomy and on which is very handy to have in my locker for last minute reference before going. I am very pleased with the volume and my experience and would recommed it to my friends
