I am a master's student in Applied Linguistics and Teaching ESL. I had to buy this textbook for a course, but I plan to keep it because it has so many activities for teaching both segmentals and suprasegmentals. I have also used it in tutoring students. I would prefer for some of the communicative practice activities to be more engaging, though.
