This novel keeps the reader engaged while exposing you to concepts that might be otherwise unapproachable for most of us. Guy demonstrates that our future could be significantly better than our present situation, and provides almost a thousand endnotes to prove his proposition. We needn't dread the future - this book shows the path to a better world.JOURNEY TO THE FUTURE is an enjoyable read that left me hopeful and inspired - and certainly a lot more knowledgeable. Let's hope it gets widely publicized. Buy this book and do tell others.
This book is an intriguing narrative, a fast-paced story that at the same time details the many positive things we can do make our hometown or our home city more liveable and sustainable, while also contributing to saving our small beleagured planet. The author, a highly respected climate change researcher and activist for many years, known for his superbly detailed research and positive solution-based presentations, demonstrates many climate change solutions as he weaves his story.
