I have never had any interest in politics or politicians but reading this book has actually presented me with a fresh way to observe this rather vile game.The idea of the 'John Bull' persona,the national identity is a very clear explanation for what happened with Brexit.This is a book that awakened many thoughts and the ideas mature the more you use this model to observe the political arena(or pit).I've read it twice so far but intend familiarizing myself with the ideas more.Great book.
As this booklet was highly recommended by Mr Baal Kadmon, I decided to buy it, despite all the doubts I had, grounded on my total Hatred of this whole "Brexit" nonsense. For me it's been "Back to 19th century Britain" when I realized the "Out" camp had won the bloody plight. A huge disappointment for me to tell the truth and so was reading "Buddha & Brexit", a laughable heap of clichés circling around the idea of the perishableness or transitoriness of (Materialized) Grand(iose) Ideas. We've seen the demise of a whole bundle of civilizations and social and administrative constructions (such as Communism in Eastern Europe) in the past 3000 years approx. So there's nothing new here and I still can't come up with a reason why on earth the author decided to produce such a piece of pure garbage (as far as I'm concerned). Well let's forget as fast and thoroughly as possible that it was ever thrown on the market. Pity for .
