There's so much data in this book that I've yet to go through it all. The jewel would be to find a plantation that my ancestors worked on and then research from there. That's my hope and I think I'll accomplish it with this book. The price was also unbelievable. I was recommended this book by the staff at the Library of Congress. I looked everywhere and it was at least $100.
