Our teacher explained this: the fourth edition has THREE VERSIONS.The full version includes chapters 16,17 and has red mixed with the title lettering pictured.The version shown for Kindle is 'essentials', in other words they chop out stuff.There is NO KINDLE VERSION that includes the needed chapters,I'll have to borrow the school library version for the last two chapters.Oh well. I'll have to give it a bad rating despite being not so bad a book due to this stupid stuff they did.I like kindle versions, you can search for text to answer course questions.And the very newest version lets you highlight in COLOR!
When ordering this book for a college class, I typed All the information in and thought this would be the full edition but it was not according to my professor. It did not match the page numbers for this class because it was not the full edition.
This book came in perfect condition and was the most up-to-date version for use in my class. It was free of markings, easy to read and understand, has quizzes to test your understanding of each chapter - with answer keys in the back. Perfect book for the political science beginner.
