I rented the Kindle version of this book for a summer course of Texas government. One good thing is that by renting the book I only payed a fraction of the price of the new book which is extremely expensive for a student and was unreasonable for me to pay. I only had to download the kindle app in my mac so that I could read it. The kindle app allows for highlighting, adding notes and also has a finder if you need to look for key concepts. The only problem for me was that the minimum rental time was 3-4 months and I honestly only needed the book for 1 month, so I think there should be cheaper short term options. Overall, I am pleased with this product and would recommend it. I did not receive any discount or compensation for my review of this product. My reviews are critical and unbiased and will always reflect my honest opinion of the product. I write my reviews with the only purpose of informing potential buyers and help them make an informed decision.
Don't promise me an access code if I'm not going to get one. Talked to customer service so many times and they sent me to Cengage customer service who then sent me back to . Thank you so much for making my life incredibly difficult! This course is super rushed, so I'm already behind on assignments.
It's pretty much what you'd expect for a rental I got it with obvious water damage so there's that, but over all it's fine and cheaper than getting it from the bookstore
With mindtap printed access card !???? hahahahaha didn't get one ! don't waste your money ! Disgusted with them. Paid to rent the book with full access. Not only did I pay for the book, I now have to also purchase the access card. Waste of my money.
This books reads like a magazine or newspaper article. The information is very current and up-to-date; but it is very dry and boring. The class however isn't very hard.
For a 2015-2016 edition it looks terrible. It has hand written notes and doodles all over with pen. I just received it yesterday and it looks terrible.
price is way too much for a book im not even getting in print. make an effort people we college kids are trying to live too.
