I love this book. Business Leadership books are too often filled with "How I Achieved Success" or "Here's My Best Practices" or "7 Things that Will Make All Your Problems Go Away." The reality is, we all face unique situations that call for the leader to adapt as the situation needs. This book does not claim to give a "one-size-fits-all" approach, nor will it tell you precisely *how* to be a leader, but rather this anthology invites you understand who a leader is and how a leader approaches leadership. I appreciate the diversity in authors presented, and I appreciate the open-ended approach Dr. Samet takes in guiding the reader to understand diverse approaches to leadership.This is not a book for people who want to be told what to do. This is a book for people who want to understand a historical, literary perspective on leadership and arrive at their own conclusions.

Maybe I misread the book's description but it was not what I expected. I didn't like the organization and it wasn't suited for my needs.
