Excellent book for every novice in the field of endoscopic gastroenterology.As the other reviewers have noted it's very easy to read and unlike other endoscopic textbooks I've encountered it discusses the actual process of the procedure, i.e. endoscope placement, movement, rotation etc. I would suggest combining it with some atlas or other textbook to help interpret the endoscopy findings.

The book and the authors are well known to most of the expert gastroenterologist , learning the standard endoscopy procedures and helping us to solve the difficulties that we met during diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy

Very easy to read, very thorough (goes through the various loops - alpha loops, N loops, reverse alpha...) and definitely worth saving on your bookshelf.A bit pricey, though - but think of it as an investment in the future!

I did not get the book until i became a second year fellow to improve my colonoscopy skill and I was happy to have it since i learned tricks that i did not learn from my attendings. Must have!

If you work in a endoscopy unit you need this book, explain the basics you need to know, explains in a very simple way but is crucial for your first days in a endoscopy unit, buy it is great.

Great for surgical residents, concise, best on the scopes rotation during surgical residency, can be read in 2 days, teaches you basic tricks for beginners.
