I'm a nurse practitioner student and wanted a book I could refer to in the future, but not too detailed. Of the two books I ordered this is by far my favorite. Great to have on your reference shelf as an NP.
If what you're looking for is a combination of telephone book and googlemaps of the human body, this is probably it. The illustrations are timelessly beautiful, detailed, and informative, and by these criteria it is impeccable indeed.If what you're looking for is information to help you understand and evaluate actual people and clinical situations, Netter's Atlas is not the best choice. For these purposes, you need a reference source for Clinically Oriented Anatomy. My favorite is Clinically Oriented Anatomy by Keith Moore et al, available elsewhere on .And who am I to judge? Not exactly nobody. I've been a primary care physician in a medically underserved area for thirty four years and counting. Have practiced Emergency Medicine, Urgent Care, and similar during that time. My advice: consider the above when spending your bucks on a Human Anatomy reference.
Does anyone know the difference between the Netter's Anatomy Atlas PROFESSIONAL EDITION vs. the Anatomy Atlas STUDENT edition other than the price?? The PRO edition is approx. 180 dollars and the student edition is 62 dollars.Is there such a huge difference? I need to get a Netter's atlas, but right now I am leaning on getting the Pro edition as I need a lot of help; I am a nursing student. However, if the student edition is the same thing, then I would love to save money.I would really appreciate anyone helping me with this question.Thank you
This is one of the BEST books on human anatomy ever printed. I recommend this to any practicing doctor or student.
I bought this from a seller. I purchased a hardcover version and am so happy with it. Will keep this book for the rest of my life to refer back to for anything anatomy related. Initially purchased for PT program. Love Netter's, the pictures are clear and beautiful.
