I purchased this book in a Kindle edition. When I saw the sample of the book that was provided before I purchased it, I thought it would be fine. It was easy to read. However when I purchased this book as a Kindle, the font is too small to see, and the option to adjust or change the font to a larger size is not available for this book. I thought buying the Kindle edition was a good idea, but it was not.I would not recommend buying this book in the Kindle form.
This nursing textbook was required for my first class in my MSN program. What a great resource providing multifacet methods in providing health promotion and prevention for multicultural populations within all different age groups! Truly thought provoking information that will be forever used in practice! Thank you for such an intense and informational resource! Despite the hereditary factor, as a community we can continue to implement healthy living through promotion and prevention education to decrease the likelihood of disease to occur.
Good for the class you will need it in. Limited use outside of class unless you plan to do research.
good reviews of several health promotion models that are helpful for planning intervention studies for community or individual health promotion.
I purchased a damaged book at a discount price and it was just a stated... Cover damaged, but content of book in very good condition.I'm not disappointed at all and would gladly purchase from this vender again!
This book is a full discourse on the Health Promotion Theory by Nola Pender. It is a wonderful book especially if you wish to use the Pender model of health promotion in your papers or your research.
Book was in very good condition as advertised. Book was very informative about health promotion. If somebody needs information about Nola Pender and her health promotion theory, this is it.
Great text book. Was very excited to see the trend toward teaching patients about their illnesses and incorporating the patient into their health care/health promotion planning.
